Your 808 musical ohana will never forget you Jim.
Sean Cleland
My heart hurts, I’m still in shock, and I can’t believe I won’t see Jim Cobb again. One of the hardest-working and talented musicians I’ve ever met. Not to mention one of the nicest and most genuine people around. I remember our first hang at The Modern all those years back brutha, talking shop about Wayne Krantz and geeking out like only guitar players could in between sets. You were kind, you were honest, you were a good man. I wish we had more time to talk the last few times I saw you at Ritz. I miss you. Your 808 musical ohana will never forget you Jim. Rest in peace my friend.
